May Birchbox

So, yeah, I know this is so over due and late posting, but I'm getting it up.  Its taken me forever to find the cord to my camera and of course I have a camera that uses a weird cable.  It would be so much easier if every cable was the USB Type B mini cable.

May was my first month of receiving a Birchbox.   I have to say I was very pleased with what I received.  For those who don't know:

You will usually get a deluxe sample as well.  The deluxe samply for May's box was a .09oz Stila eye shadow.   I received the color jade.  This shadow is 18 dollars by it self, so the box has already paid for its self!    Along with the deluxe eye shadow I received six regular sized samples. One was a duplicate tho.  Here is the list

Borghese Stellare Notte Plus Another Giveaway!

OPI's LIttle Romantics & Giveaway!!!!

I just want to say that I absolutely loved these minis.  As you will notice there are only three polishes swatches, this is because the fourth polish is RapidDry Top Coat.  Princesses Rule! is a great polish to add a kick to a traditional manicure.  Over all I feel that all three polishes are great quality, and I would recommend them to anyone.

Glitter Top Coats

OMG really, it's been over a week and half since I've posted for you all.  I'm so sorry.  No excuses, I'm lazy!  :)

So here are my swatches for you today, they are glitter top coats. Wet n Wild Wild Shine's  469 Hallucinate and 460D Kaleidoscope, Jesse's Girl Fire Fly, and NYC 155 Gramercy Glitz.

Pirates of the Caribbean minis

These are the ones that I told you all about last week!!!  EEEPPPP!!!!  They are so pretty on!!!!

These are the mini's but I can't wait to get my hands on the full size!!!   The colors are: Bones & Glossbones, Planks a Lot, Sparrow Me the Drama, and Stranger Tide.

On my fingers they are in this order left to right: Stranger Tide, Sparrow Me the Drama, Planks a Lot, and Bones & Glossbones.

Scherer Chameleon

     I found these polishes the other day at my local Rite Aid.  They are SO pretty, in the bottle.  You can see the chameleon way so perfect when you are moving the bottle around, but when I started applying these I was so disappointed.

In the sun: Calypso on the left Blue Frost on the right.

   
In the shade: oppisite order.

      I'll start with Blue Frost.  It's chameleon is all pastels, going from soft baby blue to soft pink then to a soft purple there is even some soft green in them.  It took four coats to get what you see in the picture below.  While they do not translate well on my nails they do however have the fastest drying time I have seen/witnessed in a polish.

     Next is Calypso.  It's colors range from a medium purple to a medium fuchsia to a medium teal and at certain points you can see a blue.  With this color as it's darker it only took three coats, but again did not transfer to my nail as well as I had hoped. 

     With both of these I had thought that maybe only one coat would be what was needed to show it's chameleon side but I'm unsure as to how many coats it would take to show me!  :(
